Business editor named at Arkansas paper

Bruce Castleberry has been named the business editor for The Morning News, a newspaper in northwest Arkansas, according to a story Monday.

The story stated, “Castleberry worked for more than 13 years at the Dallas Morning News, 10 covering the automotive industry. He also was business editor of the defunct A.M. Journal Express in Dallas.

“Outside of journalism, Castleberry served as vice president of public relations for Edelman Worldwide P.R.-Los Angeles and as communications manager at TrailBlazer Health Enterprises in Dallas.

“He joined Stephens Media, owners of The Morning News, in November 2004 as a copy editor and page designer.

“’Bruce is excited to get started in this new position, and I think our readers will be pleased with the new perspectives he will bring to coverage of local business news,’ said Rusty Turner, editor of The Morning News.”
