The Buffalo News will become one of the newspapers running the Associated Press’ new Money & Markets stock page starting later this week.
The South Bend Tribune in Indiana is the only other paper to announce that it’s running the page. The new AP feature is supposed to help newspapers that are cutting its stock listings in an attempt to save newsprint.
A short story in the News Sunday stated, “As part of the conversion, The News is strengthening its suburban coverage and presenting several new features. Among them will be a new Money & Markets page in the business section. It comprises easy-to-understand graphics that will give investors information to help inform their financial decisions.”
