Kirstyn Brendlen is now a digital editor at the Brooklyn Paper. Previously, she was a reporter. In her new role, she will continue writing about North Brooklyn, but will be focusing more on editing, organizing and managing.
Previously, Brendlen was an education and transportation reporter and then served as a politics reporter at The Riverdale Press, a weekly covering the Northwest Bronx neighborhoods.
She was also an intern at The Arab-American Family Support Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Brendlen graduated from Hofstra University with a bachelor’s degree in journalism.
