Ryan Broderick, a BuzzFeed staffer in London, has moved back to the United States to work on the business and tech desk.
Broderick will cover the “global information dystopia and platform manipulation beat,” according to an internal company announcement.
Broderick has been in London since September 2015 as deputy global news director, helping BuzzFeed build a global news team and experiment with international storytelling.
He previously worked as a reporter in New York covering breaking news, pop culture, and wrote features focusing on cyberbullying, revenge porn, new media stardom, and the way the internet impacts our daily lives.
He’s a graduate of Hofstra University.
