Chris Ariens of TVNewser reports that CNBC correspondent Margaret Brennan is leaving the business news cable network to become an anchor on Bloomberg TV.
Brennan reports regularly for CNBC’s business day programming and specializes on consumer spending and the retail industry. She also contributes to MSNBC and NBC News programs. Brennan also anchors CNBC Marketwrap Updates for MSNBC, CNBC Asia and NBC Mobile.
Before joining CNBC, Brennan interned at CNN’s International Newsdesk in 2001 where she coordinated field reporters and translated Arabic language tapes from Osama bin Laden.
