This week will see Brian Bergstein joining the Boston Globe as deputy opinion editor.
There, he will be working alongside Bina Venkataraman, Marjorie Pritchard, Anica Butler and the rest of the Boston Globe Opinion team.
Bergstein will be working on ideas in science and tech and other subjects.
Recently, Bergstein was working as a freelance science and tech editor. He also held various editorial roles including editor at large and editorial consultant at various platforms including NEO.LIFE, MIT Horizon and MIT Technology Review.
He was also with the Associated Press as a national tech correspondent and tech and media editor.
Bergstein holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Medill School of Journalism, Northwestern University.
