Boston Globe hires Miami Herald tourism reporter Dolven to cover transportation

Taylor Dolven

The Boston Globe has hired Miami Herald tourism reporter Taylor Dolven to cover transportation.

She will start her new job next month.

Dolven has been at the Herald for the past three years. She previously spent more than four years at Vice News and was also at WOBI in Buenos Aires, Argentina as a web producer.

She was also a staff writer at the Argentina Independent.

Dolven holds a bachelor’s degree from Miami University in Ohio.

Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
