Peter J. Howe, former business editor of NECN and a journalist with nearly 30 years’ experience in Boston, has joined communications firm Denterlein, reports Doug Banks of the Boston Business Journal.
Banks writes, “Howe will focus on public affairs, corporate communication, and crisis management as a senior adviser to the Boston-based firm.
“Howe was previously a reporter and editor at the Boston Globe before joining NECN in 2008 to serve as business editor. At NECN, Howe hosted ‘CEO Corner,’ an interview show with regional business leaders.
“At Denterlein, Howe will counsel clients to develop strategies in business, leadership, corporate image, and public policy.
“‘Having met Peter during our assignments at the State House, I appreciated his ability to match wits with the canny Gov. Bill Weld and to trade arcane political history with the governor,’ said Geri Denterlein, CEO, in a statement.”
