The Boston Business Journal has hired reporter Lucy Maffei to cover technology.
Executive editor Doug Banks writes, “At the Business Journal, we are talking about teamwork today too, because starting today we have a new member of the newsroom team, in the form of a new technology business reporter: Lucia “Lucy” Maffei.
“Lucy was most recently a staff writer at BostInno, a sister publication of the Business Journal, where she has been covering Boston’s startup tech companies since April 2017. Born and raised in Italy, Lucy “is passionate about English as a second language, M&A deals and vanilla cookies.” She most recently has written about what made Avid’s earnings so great (see the link above), LogMeIn’s integration of its GoTo brand, five takeaways from a Bose executive’s recent remarks and a BU startup making surround speakers for laptop-movie viewers.”
