Timothy Boone has been named business editor at the Baton Rouge Advocate in Louisiana.
He has been a business reporter at the paper for the past nine years covering retail, real estate and economic development and will still be reporting.
Boone previously was the online news editor at the Baton Rouge Business Report and a business reporter for the Biloxi Sun-Herald. And he previously worked at the Advocate from 2004 to 2006. He also worked at the newspapers in Pascagoula, Mississippi, New Iberia, Louisiana, and Alexandria, Louisiana.
Boone is a Louisiana State University graduate.
