Axios has tapped Dan Bobkoff as its new executive producer of podcasts.
Previously, Bobkoff was with Three Uncanny Four Productions, which is a big podcast initiative with Sony Music. Before that, he was with Business Insider for more than four years, holding numerous roles, including editor of special projects, senior editor and executive producer, host.
He has also reported for both NPR and Marketplace. He was also host of “Just Business” podcast at Carnegie Council for Ethics in International Affairs. He was also a reporter for both Changing Gears, a WCPN/WBEZ/Michigan Radio Collaboration and ideastream, where he covered politics and the economy for Cleveland’s NPR and PBS stations.
Additionally, he has also worked at WAMC/Northeast Public Radio, WSHU, ABC News and WNYC Radio.
Currently, he is also self-employed and is also an adjunct professor at NYU School of Professional Studies.
Bobkoff graduated from Wesleyan University in 2005 and has a master’s from Columbia University’s Knight-Bagehot business reporting fellowship.
