Bloomber’s Aquino to lead FX/rates team

Kristine Aquino

Kristine Aquino, team leader for Bloomberg News’ Markets Live blog in Europe, is becoming the leader for its foreign exchange and rates team.

She has been with the Markets Live team since November 2016, first as a writer.

She previously was a reporter and editor on the foreign exchange team in London and in Singapore. She also covered emerging markets and real estate in Singapore.

Aquino was formerly a news assistant at CNBC.

She is a graduate of National University of Singapore.

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
