Amy Thomson has been named Europe, Middle East and Africa technology, media and telecoms team leader at Bloomberg News.
She is based in London.
Thomson previously was a reporter and editor covering startups, health-tech, fundraising and venture capital and artificial intelligence in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. She was also deputy team leader for European mergers and acquisitions.
She has also been a media reporter and a technology and telecoms reporter in the United States.
Thomson is a UNC-Chapel Hill graduate in journalism.
