Business journalist Gabriel Snyder is launching Off the Record, a daily email newsletter about New York media, reports Politico.
Currently, Snyder is working as an independent consultant, providing editorial services and strategic advice to publishers, including the Columbia Journalism Review, The New York Times and The Hollywood Reporter,
He has also produced work for clients that has been named a finalist for multiple National Magazine Awards.
Snyder has also served as editor-in-chief of The New Republic and Gawker. He has also held editorial roles at The Atlantic and Newsweek.
He has also written for W Magazine, Variety, US Weekly and New York Observer.
Snyder is a graduate of Yale University.
