“Odd Lots,” a Bloomberg podcast featuring Joe Weisenthal and Tracy Alloway talking markets, finance and economics, is expanding its content for subscribers.
Weisenthal and Alloway write, “Both of us (Tracy and Joe) spent a big part of our careers blogging, writing sometimes multiple posts of varying lengths throughout the day on a range of topics, across multiple formats. And although blogging may not be seen as cool today as it was, say, in 2007 or 2008, it’s still a great format. So we’re starting a new, daily blog, available exclusively for you, our subscribers.
“On the blog you’ll find us talking throughout the day about the themes we’re discussing on the podcast. If it’s something related to markets, finance, or economics, we’ll write about it. Sometimes it might just be a chart that’s interesting. Other times it might be a news story that connects to a recent guest. We’ll also write longer pieces of analysis, plus a weekly newsletter. And we’ll be doing other interviews and Q&As that only get published here.
“Oh, and speaking of interview text, one of the longtime requests we’ve had is for full transcripts of our episodes. So we’re going to start publishing those here as well. And that’s not all. Down the road we’re going to have virtual and live events that will allow us to connect and hear directly from you.”
