Bloomberg’s Liu seeking $1 million to expand podcast

Bloomberg Television anchor Betty Liu is seeking $1 million to expand her podcast, Radiate, into a larger business, according to Alex Weprin of Politico.

Weprin writes, “According to the Form D filing, $875,000 of that $1 million raise has been sold, with $125,000 remaining to be sold. It is not clear who the investors are.

“‘Following the success and remarkable feedback on season one of the Radiate podcast, we are excited to explore other[contextly_sidebar id=”HQjSDQGEkweCGKzK4ZW3R4mbDhpq8lZS”]ways to provide our listeners and followers with new and meaningful information to help them grow their careers,’ Liu told POLITICO when asked for comment. ‘This funding will go toward building a team dedicated to expanding Radiate content.’

“In an interview with POLITICO in January, Liu suggested that one area Radiate may expand into is video.”
