Sahil Kapur will be joining NBC News as a national political reporter later this month.
He will be placed on the digital team to cover the 2020 election and Washington.
Currently, Kapur holds the post of national political reporter at Bloomberg News. Previously, he was working as a senior congressional reporter at TPM Media LLC. Before that, he held the posts of associate editor and reporter and political reporter at Inside Washington Publishers and Various, respectively.
He was also an editorial intern at The Huffington Post.
Kapur is a graduate of Claremont McKenna College.
