Bloomberg’s Idzelis joins Investment News

Christine Idzelis, a corporate finance reporter at Bloomberg News for the past five years, has been hired by Investment News.

At the Crain publication, she will cover Wall Street wealth management and independent investment advisers.

Idzelis had been at Bloomberg since December 2010, reporting on the U.S. credit markets with a focus on high-yield, high-risk financing. Her coverage included breaking news and enterprise stories on leveraged loans, junk bonds, CLOs and the impact of financial regulation.

Idzelis previously worked at The Deal for six years as a private equity reporter, covering everything from acquisitions to corporate earnings to initial public offerings. Before that, she was a reporter for Institutional Investor for nearly two years.

She is a Boston College graduate.
