Bloomberg News reporter Ben Bartenstein is moving to its Middle East team.
He has been an emerging markets reporter and editor based in New York since June 2018.
Before that, Bartenstein was a reporter in Latin America based in Lima, Peru, where he reported on Venezuela’s economic and humanitarian crisis. He was also a Latin American markets reporter based in New York.
“Grateful for these past five years covering the Americas, a region that will remain on my radar from afar,” he wrote on Twitter.
Bartenstein is a graduate of Macalaster College.
