Bloomberg View announced Friday the expansion of its editorial board in the U.S. and Asia, and the addition of new columnists and a full-time writer for its blog, The Ticker.
New members of the View editorial board are current View columnist Clive Crook and Nisid Hajari, former managing editor and former foreign editor of Newsweek, who will be based in Singapore. Matthew C. Klein, who previously wrote for The Economist, will write blog posts for Bloomberg View.
Joining View as a columnist is Lanhee J. Chen, former chief policy director for Mitt Romney’s 2012 presidential campaign. Megan Greene, former director of European economic research at Roubini Global Economics, is contributing columns from Europe.
“Adding talent of this caliber brings us closer to our goal of being a central hub for the highest-quality opinion and analysis on the web,” said David Shipley, executive editor of Bloomberg View, in a statement. “Our new writers deepen our editorial bench, and the strategic additions to our Editorial Board add strength in key areas: Europe, Asia, and global economics and finance.”
