Julie Hyman, a reporter for Bloomberg Television for the past 17 years, has left the organization.

Her last day was today. Her new job has not yet been disclosed.

“Indeed, it was time. It’s been an amazing journey at Bloomberg, I love and respect my colleagues. They saw me through big news personal and professional,” said Hyman on Twitter.

Hyman held many roles at Bloomberg TV, including retail reporter, anchor and morning markets editor. She has covered markets from the New York Stock Exchange, the NASDAQ MarketSite and the Chicago Board of Trade.

Previously, Hyman worked in Bloomberg’s Paris office as a print journalist covering European stock markets, and for the Washington Times newspaper covering local and national business stories.

Hyman is a graduate of Randolph Macon College.
