Bloomberg TV producer leaves for Colbert show

Alex Trowbridge

Alexander Trowbridge, a Bloomberg Television producer for “With all Due Respect,” has left for a producer job at the “Late Show with Stephen Colbert.”

He’s been at Bloomberg since May 2015.

On Facebook, Trowbridge wrote, “I will miss the gang at Bloomberg, and obviously the fun I’ve had with Griffin and Matt. Lucky to have worked at a place that let me be so weird.”

Before that, Trowbridge was a reporter and editor for CBS Interactive, where he wrote and reported stories on a range of topics, including international and domestic politics, energy, retirement, veterans, health and technology.

Trowbridge also spent four years at Politico as a video reporter, video producer and assistant editor. He served as an on-the-ground producer for Politico’s live coverage of major events, including the conventions, the presidential and vice presidential debates and election night.

He’s a UNC-Chapel Hill graduate.
