Bloomberg Television announced Monday that Alix Steel has joined as a correspondent, covering global markets, economic news and commodities across Bloomberg’s multiple digital platforms.
Steel, who is based in New York City, joins Bloomberg on Feb. 27.
Previously, Steel was senior multimedia reporter, anchor and producer for TheStreet.com, where she covered global markets and commodities, with a primary focus on gold. Steel also co-anchored a live trading show, “Morning Call,” for TheStreet.com and T3Live.com.
Steel received her bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University and studied business journalism at New York University.
