Bloomberg TV hires Cioffi as segment producer

Joseph Cioffi

Bloomberg Television has hired Joseph Cioffi as a segment producer.

He will start on Sept. 13.

Cioffi has been an associate producer at Fox Business Network since October 2020. He previously was a booker and a researcher at Fox Business.

He previously worked at CBS and NY1 News, and he also worked as a producer for Fox 61 News in Hartford. He also was a producer for Spectrum in Albany, New York.

Cioffi holds a bachelor’s degree from SUNY-Oneonta and a master’s degree from Quinnipiac University.

Chris Roush

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
