Bloomberg to open new bureaus

Bloomberg News bureaus will open in Doha, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, Angola, Belgrade and Tallinn, adding to its 145 bureaus across the globe, the news service announced Monday.

The disclosure was part of its announcement that it was adding Associated Press content to its terminals.

The announcement also stated that in addition to the real-time AP content, Bloomberg subscribers now have access to selected archived news from the AP, adding to a trove of more than 150 million articles available via Bloomberg’s proprietary news search engine.
