Bloomberg taps Tobin as full-time reporter

Michael Tobin

Michael Tobin has joined Bloomberg in New York as a full-time reporter.

Previously, he was a summer intern at the company covering venture capital and startups.

Additionally, he has also served as a spot news intern at The Wall Street Journal where he covered corporate earnings and breaking news for the Dow Jones Newswires. He also worked on longer term pieces during his internship.

Tobin was editor-in-chief of The Daily Emerald where he managed a team of 70 reporters, editors, photographers and designers, producing print edition once a week, along with special sections, and publishing online content daily.

Tobin is a graduate of University of Oregon.
