Bloomberg News has tapped Riley Ray Griffin as its new pharmaceuticals industry reporter.
Griffin has been with Bloomberg since June, first as an intern and then as a full-time reporter.
She graduated earlier this year from Duke University, where she studied international relations and policy journalism.
She spent time on campus working for the Reporters’ Lab, a media research and reporting team led by PolitiFact founder Bill Adair, while contributing articles to The Poynter Institute, HuffPost, Duke Political Review and The Chronicle.
She also served as the CEO and chief marketing officer of Campus Enterprises LLC, Duke’s most successful student-run company, managing 42 shareholders.
