Bloomberg taps Goldstein for mobile news initiative

Alan Goldstein

Bloomberg has promoted Alan Goldstein to the post of senior editor, Bloomberg Today mobile news in New York.

He previously served as managing editor for finance and investing.

Goldstein has been with Bloomberg for over 14 years, previously holding the posts of editor for corporate finance, team leader for corporate finance and managing editor, state and local.

He also spent over 12 years at The Dallas Morning News, working as a business reporter, tech editor and then as an assistant business editor.

He has also reported for The Tampa Bay Times and was a reporter-trainee at Los Angeles Times.

Goldstein has a M.S. in journalism from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
