Bloomberg has promoted Meg Ely to the post of social managing editor for digital, where she will bring together both the Bloomberg.com social editors and the Quicktake social team, generating more collaboration and efficiency.
Recently, she held the role of managing editor of social and audience development.
Previously, she was a social media manager at The New Yorker and a digital editor at The Washington Post. She was also a web producer at PBS and has interned at the Connecticut Post and New Canaan Advertiser.
Ely has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Indiana University in Bloomington.
