A New York Post item on Thursday reports that Bloomberg LP executive Norm Pearlstine has been dispatched to is Washington offices.
“Pearlstine, Bloomberg’s chief content officer, thinks Bloomberg Businessweek is running strong with editor Josh Tyrangiel and is focused on getting Kevin Sheekey‘s Bloomberg Government on its feet since it launched in January as a Washington subscription data service.
“A Bloomberg rep responded, ‘BGOV is doubling the size of its editorial staff this year . . . so it is only natural that a journalist with Norm’s experience would be part of the senior management team directing Bloomberg’s efforts in DC.'”
