Victoria Stilwell, an economics reporter for Bloomberg News in Washington, is leaving the news service to attend law school.
Stilwell will become a student at Yale Law School next month. She will leave Bloomberg at the end of the month.
She has been a reporter at Bloomberg for the past four years. Recently, she was on the U.S. economy team covering economic indicators and macro trends. She specialized in how demographic changes affect the labor market, consumption and other aspects of the economy.
Stilwell is also the co-host of “Bloomberg Benchmark,” a weekly podcast about the inner workings of the global economy.
She previously worked on the industrials team in New York, covering planes, trains and freight, the emerging markets international team in New York covering Chinese, Russian and Israeli assets traded in the U.S., and the corporate finance team covering the debt and credit-default swap markets.
Stilwell is a business journalism graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill.
