Bloomberg News reporter Gerald Porter Jr. has left the news organization for a new job.
He has been covering consumer packaged goods and beauty sectors of major organizations including Procter & Gamble, Ulta and Coty since January 2020.
Before joining Bloomberg as a reporting intern in 2018, Porter held the same post at The Wall Street Journal. before that, he was an editorial intern at Chicago Tribune Media Group. He also held the post of associate campus news editor at The Badger Herald.
Porter holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and creative writing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
