Bloomberg reporter Maki to cover emerging markets

Sydney Maki

Bloomberg News reporter Sydney Maki is now covering Latin American emerging markets.

Her beat is based in New York City.

Maki has been with Bloomberg for the past year, first as an intern and then as a rotational reporter. She reported on the stock market, New York real estate, with an emphasis on Manhattan’s residential market, as well as G-10 currencies and rates.

She holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Arizona State University, where she was executive editor of The State Press.

He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
