Viviana Hurtado, on-air reporter covering global business, finance and the economy at Bloomberg Television, has left.
She is an Edward R. Murrow and Emmy award-winning journalist and news anchor, having previously worked for international, national and local news networks, including WTOL-TV in Ohio, MSNBC, CNN and NPR amongst others.
She was also part of the Al Jazeera English launch team as its North America correspondent.
There, she covered U.S. foreign policy and politics. She has also worked at ABC News.
Hurtado is the creator of the women-empowering and award-winning The Wise Latina Club blog and cofounder of Latinas for Latino Lit (L4LL), home of the Latino Children’s Summer Reading Program.
