Bloomberg News is the winner in the business and financial category of the Society of the Silurians‘ 2012 Excellence in Journalism Awards Competition.
Bloomberg won two other awards from the Silurians.
Susan Antilla, a columnist for Bloomberg View, won the online commentary award for “Watching the Public’s Back.”
In addition, Bloomberg Markets won the investigative magazine category. Michael Smith, Daryna Krasnolutska, David Voreacos and David Glovin won for “Crime and Human Organs.”
New York magazine won the business and financial category in the magazine section. The winning entry was Steve Fishman‘s “Madoff on Madoff: The Jailhouse Tapes.”
The Silurians, founded in 1924, is an organization of veteran journalists dedicated to excellence and journalistic integrity.
