Bloomberg News reporter LaVito moving to Boston

Angelica LaVito

Bloomberg News reporter Angelica LaVito is moving to Boston to expand her coverage to health care topics such as biotech and public health.

She will relocate this summer. She has been based in New York.

She has been at Bloomberg since January 2020 covering the e-cigarette industry, including Juul Labs Inc. She also reported on pharmacies, including Walgreens Boots Alliance Inc. and CVS Health Corp.

Before Bloomberg, LaVito was a consumer health reporter at CNBC, which she joined since June 2017.

She is a graduate of the University of Illinois, where she worked at the Daily Illini.
