Drew Armstrong, U.S. health team leader of Bloomberg News, is becoming senior editor for health care at Bloomberg.
“It’s an opportunity to work on dedicated projects + big stories like the pandemic, do more reporting and writing, and increase the visibility of the amazing work of the reporters and editors here,” he wrote on Twitter.
He has been a team leader since January 2016, managing a team of 10 reporters and editors covering the health industry, mergers and acquisitions, policy, medicine and breaking news out of the New York City bureau.
He also spent more than four years covering health policy or the pharmaceutical industry for Bloomberg. Before Bloomberg, he worked at Congressional Quarterly.
