Simon Hunt has been hired as a contract reporter at Bloomberg News, working on the wealth beat.
Hunt will be covering executive compensation and the activities of high net worth individuals, as well as helping maintain the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, an online daily ranking of the world’s top 500 richest people.
Prior to starting at Bloomberg, Hunt was a Tax Associate at PwC and then a philosophy undergraduate at Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford. While at Oxford Simon edited the university student Newspaper, Cherwell, as well as being part of the editorial board for a political student magazine, the Oxford Political Review.
Hunt is a trustee of the Open Spaces Society, Britain’s oldest national conservation body. He is also a photography and filmmaking enthusiast, and enjoys playing classical guitar.
