Bloomberg News has named Morwenna Coniam as its new Dublin bureau chief.
She succeeds Dara Doyle, who is moving into a new role.
Coniam has been at Bloomberg since June 2009, starting as a European markets reporter in London. She also spent time in the Hong Kong bureau as an Asian markets reporter and as a deputy team leader.
She also spent three years in New York as a U.S., Canada and Latin America stocks and markets editor, helping to manage a team of reporters and editors across the region.
She moved to Dublin in October 2019 to be an editor on the Europe, Middle East and Africa team
