Bloomberg Media strikes deal to provide content for Saudi news operation

The Saudi Research and Marketing Group and Bloomberg Media will collaborate to provide Arabic-language content to business audiences and decision makers across the Middle East through Asharq Business with Bloomberg, in an exclusive content agreement.

The agreement forms the launch of SRMG’s new Arabic-language news service, Asharq News, which launched Nov. 11 as a television channel and website.

Asharq Business with Bloomberg aims to become the premier Arabic-language business news provider. The offering will gradually expand to include a radio station, an Arabic edition of Bloomberg Businessweek and a series of live events.

Asharq News is headquartered in Riyadh with central offices in Dubai and Washington, D.C. and bureaus across select capitals of the region and around the world.
