Scott Havens, Bloomberg Media’s Global Head of Digital, sent the following memo to staff on Monday:

I am pleased to announce Kibi Anderson recently joined Bloomberg Digital as our new Head of Digital Strategy and Business Development. Kibi is tasked with identifying and closing new partnerships and strategic relationships that help to expand the reach and monetization of our digital products. She will also play a critical role in assessing new business opportunities focused on improving top line performance and growing our global business working closely across all functional groups and with senior leadership.

Kibi hails from Disney/ABC News where she served as the Senior Manager of Strategy & Business Operations for ABC News Digital. She worked with key stakeholders across ABC News to help execute goals, drive long-term planning and identify new opportunities to strengthen and grow the digital business. She also helped oversee the development and implementation of business operations, strategies, priorities, and practices focused on improving overall efficiency, productivity, workflow, and financial growth within the organization.

Kibi has worked for Citigroup, Indomitable Entertainment, and Broadway Federal Bank, where she honed her skills in investment banking, strategy, consulting, and business development/sales. Also important to note, Kibi is an Emmy-Award winning Independent Film producer, and produced a variety of short and long-form content under her own independent production company banner Key Bee Entertainment. She received her MBA from New York University, Stern School of Business and her BA in East Asian Studies from Harvard University.

Kibi is a native of Seattle, WA, and when she is not watching her beloved Seahawks play, she enjoys bike riding and cooking for friends and family.

As you can tell, Kibi is an entrepreneur at heart and will be an incredible asset to our team as we continue to accelerate our digital business.
