Bloomberg Media executive Ravindranathan departs

Parry Ravindranathan

Parry Ravindranathan, president and managing director, international, at Bloomberg Media, will be leaving the organization after more than nine years.

“It’s been an incredible run at Bloomberg Media and I have worked with some of the smartest, most talented people here…my Asia and EMEA Media teams especially,” he wrote on LinkedIn.

Ravindranathan joined Bloomberg in 2011 as managing director, Asia, Bloomberg Television. He then became managing director, Asia for Bloomberg Media, before being promoted to his most recent post.

Prior to joining Bloomberg, Ravindranathan has served as board director at Asiaville Interactive and Valustat Limited, respectively.

He was also board director and advisor at Culture Machine Media.

Before that, he was executive producer and head of India operations for Bloomberg Television. He has also served as an assistant program editor and assistant editor at Al Jazeera English and CNBC – TV18, respectively.

He also worked at CNN as an intern.

Ravindranathan is a B.A. from Christ University and a M.A. from University of Westminster.
