Bloomberg Markets magazine has named Michael Dukmejian as publisher, reflecting Bloomberg’s commitment to expansion of its media products.
The position is a new one at the company.
Dukmejian will work alongside magazine editor Ronald Henkoff, who reports to Winkler.
“I am excited to be joining the Bloomberg Markets team at this time of growth and expansion for the Company and for Bloomberg Markets magazine,” Dukmejian said in a statement. “I believe the magazine is well positioned to be a defining force in business journalism.â€
Dukmejian was executive vice president at SourceMedia Inc., where he oversaw the Professional Services Division. He spent more than 26 years at Time Inc. in a variety of positions in publishing, sales and marketing, most recently as group publisher for the Fortune and Money Group and CNNMoney.com. Dukmejian earned an MBA in Finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in political science from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.

Curious as Trevor Fellows had been publisher of Bloomberg Markets when I worked there last year. He had reported into the head of sales, not news, so this is a surprising shift.
