Scott Mozarsky, who led Bloomberg Law for two years before leaving this summer, has joined Vannin Capital as a managing director.
Mozarsky will be located in Vannin’s New York City office with overall responsibility for the North American business. He was president of Bloomberg Law, leading Bloomberg’s business across the legal market.
Mozarsky was also responsible for building and leading the Bloomberg Next organization across Bloomberg’s industry verticals, which included Bloomberg BNA, Bloomberg Government and Bloomberg New Energy Finance.
Prior to his role at Bloomberg, Mozarsky worked at United Business Media for 13 years in a number of executive roles including global co-Head of mergers and acquisitions and general counsel for all of UBM’s U.S.-based subsidiaries before serving in leadership positions in its media and marketing services businesses and its subsidiary PR Newswire.
He also spent seven years working in multinational law firms advising clients on cross-border transactions and other business matters.
