Francis announced on her Facebook page that she will be joining Captain Cookie and the Milk Man, a Washington-based food truck company that sells fresh-baked cookies, local creamery milk, and made-to-order ice cream sandwiches.
The company is operated by her husband Kirk Francis.
Her last day at Bloomberg is May 1. On Facebook, Francis wrote, “I couldn’t be more proud of my 5 years at Bloomberg, an incredible company full of amazing learning experiences, people and opportunities.”
Francis is currently on the First Word desk in Washington. She is a UNC-Chapel Hill graduate.
