Bloomberg Industry rolls back return to office policy

The union that represents journalists at Bloomberg Industry Group sent out the following announcement on Friday:

Dear Colleagues,
As you likely gathered from this morning’s HR Update, INDG has decided to roll back its forced return-to-office policy after 15 breakthrough cases were revealed by onsite testing conducted this week in the Arlington office.
New cases are reported on the BHome page at https://confluence.bna.com/bhome/home/news-video/covid-19/covid-19-case-info, and one additional positive test has so far surfaced today after the HR Update.
Christina Correira clarified for us this morning that the policy change (n.b. “if you are more comfortable working from home, you should do so”) applies to employees at both the Arlington and K Street locations.
The Guild is pleased to see this action taken to protect employees and their loved ones, but we are disappointed that it took so many positive tests to prompt it.
In solidarity,
Jason Albright
Unit Chair
