Bloomberg “inadvertently” broke embargo on Fed minutes

CNBC’s Steve Liesman reports that Bloomberg has released a statement saying it was responsible for the early release of the Fed minutes.

The minutes were scheduled to be released on Wednesday at 2 p.m. But Bloomberg reported on the minutes more than 20 minutes before that.

Liesman reported that Bloomberg was preparing its content to be released at 2 p.m., but that a headline about the minutes was released “inadvertently.”
