We’re proud to announce some new hires and promotions in the Credit Americas team:
Natalie Harrison, currently the head of U.S. credit coverage at IFR, will join us next month as team leader of an expanded Leveraged Finance group. Natalie spent the past decade as an editor and reporter for IFR in New York and London, helping the organization shape its credit coverage worldwide while also coordinating its annual IFR awards and roundtable events with market participants. Before IFR, Natalie spent several years as a reporter at Reuters, where she helped cover the 2007-2008 credit crisis. Sally Bakewell becomes deputy TL of this group, focused on breaking news in the leveraged loan and CLO markets while also helping to shape our expanded coverage of private credit.
Nicole Bullock, the Financial Times’ U.S. equity correspondent for the past five years and previously a member of the team there that covered the global financial crisis, will join us later this month in a new editing role in the distressed-debt team, reporting to Rick Green who becomes Team Leader for this new group. Nicole previously wrote for the FT’s Lex column and covered capital markets for the paper. She also has worked as a reporter at SmartMoney and Dow Jones Newswires, where she also had a stint as deputy bureau chief in Milan.
James Crombie will expand his responsibilities in a new senior editor position, reporting to me, working across the Credit Americas group to help the teams execute on our most important initiatives as we build out our credit coverage.
Nikolaj Gammeltoft will run the team focused on investment-grade corporate borrowers and securitized debt. The Corporate & Structured Credit team will also serve as the hub for our coverage of Canadian and Latin American credit.
Please join me in welcoming our new colleagues and congratulating those taking on new roles.
Best,
Shannon
