Paula Seligson has been hired by Bloomberg News to cover the mergers and acquisitions financing beat such as bridge loans.
She came from Debtwire, where she covered high-yield bonds.
Seligson was previously working for Reuters in its Washington bureau covering national affairs as an intern. She also interned last summer for the investigative unit of CBS News.
Seligson graduated last year from the business and economics journalism master’s program at New York University.
She also spent two years working as a research specialist for the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at UNC-Chapel Hill and worked as a reporter for the Smithfield Herald newspaper in North Carolina.
Her undergraduate degree is from UNC-Chapel Hill in information sciences.
