Previously, she was at Al Jazeera+, where she worked as a senior producer in Washington.
She has also reported on breaking news, features, and scoops across Europe, the U.S., Asia, and the Middle East for BuzzFeed News, The Guardian, The BBC, The Financial Times, The Independent, and The New Statesman.
Gani graduated from King’s College London, University of London. She has a master’s degree in political journalism from City University.
